We loved our stay here!!!The best part was the location...it was very close to la ronde (where we went everyday). The staff was great and my children loved the pool. The subway was just ouside the front entrance...it had quite a few little stores and eating places(MCDonald's, Subway, a very nice Pizza Place...etc..). Will stay here again...only ...

Beautiful hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/28/07
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights Great hotel and very conveniently located next to the Metro station. Front desk is very courteous and friedly. All the attractions in Montreal can be travelled via Metro. We took a 3 day unlimited pass for $17 and it was worth it. Highly recommend this hotel.

About what you'd expect from a Sandman hotel -- reasonable quality, reasonable price. It is cheaper than a comparable hotel on the island, and as the subway is very close (and runs fairly later), so downtown Montreal is still very accessible.

Double Billed
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/18/06
I was double billed for my 3 night stay and it wasn't rectified without constant pursuit and much frustration in dealing with their accounting department. They have inexperienced people minding the front desk which led to me being billed twice. I wasn't ever given even so much as a verbal apology from anyone when their proof came in that I ...
Great hotel in a nice location. It's convenient because it's right next to the bus terminal. The only problem is the parking. sometimes there isn't enough spaces to park the car and you have to get a ticket to stamp when you are going in and out of the hotel's parking lot.
Other than that, the hotel is nice and the rooms are very clean. Would recommend it to everyone.

A fairly good value

We arrived there for the ChampCar race weekend. Interestingly, there didn't seem to be any race fans around when we arrived. One of the first things we overheard when we arrived at the hotel was a lady who was loudly complaining to the restaurant manager about the poor service (she said that her hamburgers were the worst she had ever eaten ...

Great people and location

I've stayed at this property for years when it was a Holiday Inn, Ramada, Raddisson and now Sandman. As with all Montreal properties, it has become extremely expensive for Grand Prix Race weekend and requires a 3 day stay. In years past I've stayed there for $69.00/night. Now it's $335.00/night. That's $1005.00 for what used to ...
