The room was clean and charming. This is not the run of the mill hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was incredible. And the dinner was just like in Germany. We can't wait to go back.

Fantastic Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/17/08
What a great place to stay that is close to GNP/YNP. The hotel is very clean and the meals were fantastic. The free breakfast was excellent with homemade muesli, and the dinners are among the best we've had anywhere. Very nice German/Swiss decor, and did I mention the Paulaner Hefe-Weizen on tap in the bar? Fantastic property in every way

Horrible Experience - Do Not Stay at the Alpenhof Lodge
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/07
This Lodge is NOT worth the risk. They book rooms in their attic that are absolute firetraps. We booked two rooms over six months in advance for our family with two children. The rooms they put us in were in the attic at the end of a hall that would be impossible to pass in the event of a fire. These rooms would NOT pass fire code in most states. ...
Was in Jackson for a fishing trip recently and stayed at the Alpenhof Lodge. The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the breakfast served in the restaurant was just what we needed before heading out in the drift boats each day. If you're heading to Jackson and want to stay in the village, you could do much worse than the Alpenhof Lodge.

The Place to Stay for Skiiers
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/04
The Alpenhof is a charming, well run lodge with very nice rooms and a great restaurant. Homey, warm and right at the base of the lifts. Ski rentals in the same building. Best value in Teton Village.
