English country, lovedly. Great restaurant, Oliver's bar makes the best martini's......they win the compition every year. Centrally located in downtown Seattle.
Great Service, Great Location, Great Hotel, Our experience at the mayflower park hotel was Great. We had a corner room, that was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable, the room is small but efficient, more than enough room for my husband and I. The bathroom very clean but no vanity area. Our only complaint was there was no table to eat or ...

Overpriced, rude staff, very noisy, tiny room and outdated
Forget this outdated, noisy, overpriced place. You can do much better in Seattle. It's next to a park filled with homeless people... our tiny room was extremely noisy, we could hear every word from the next room. Our bathroom had no room for any toiletry items, and worst of all, the staff was rude. I say, forget this pretentious rip-off place!!

COMPLETE RIP-OFF, noisy, rude staff, outdated
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/07
Rude staff. Very overpriced hotel and adjoining restaurants, REPEAT: VERY overpriced!! Outdated... have to share elevator with cleaning and maintenance staff. Tiny outdated room. Very tiny bathroom. Very, VERY noisy, can hear EVERYTHING from adjoining rooms, terrible acoustics. Rude, inefficient staff. What more can I say? SKIP THIS JOINT!!!
The rooms are so small. 165 square ft. The gym power went out and they did not fix it at all. The maid did not make the bed and did not place soap in the bathroom.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Mayflower Park Hotel. The lobby was beautiful, making me wonder if we really belonged there - we felt like a fish out of water at first. The valet and bell staff were friendly and outgoing, as well as the girl who checked us in (and out) and the bartender at Oliver's. The Concierge was extremely ...

Unforgetable NW experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/20/06
My wife and I escaped to the hotel for a weekend away from teenagers. The staff was gracious, the food was fabulous, and the location can't be beat.
This was the highlight of our trip to the Northwest. The hotel was wonderful, recommend it highly.

Wonderful older hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/18/05
A fabulous older hotel, nicely updated. Excellent location. Staff was very courteous and attentive and most helpful. The room, although not overly large, was comfortable and had all the amenities I look for and value - a desk, good lighting, high-speed internet connection (free!), comfortable bed with soft linens, soft, fluffy towels.

The location cannot be beat and the staff is very friendly. The suites are large and comfortable. The hotel is lovely and historic. I've stayed there many times and highly recommend this property.
