We stayed in July 2009, five of us in one nice sized room. The staff was always friendly, helping with directions. When we requested extra towels, they were delivered to the room within 10 minutes every time. The room was clean. The free breakfast was really good with muffins, bagels, donuts, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, apples, bananas. For the price, a great deal.

This hotel is recently remodeled with very up-to-date artwork and furnishings. It looks like a hotel you would see in NYC but without the price. When we got into the hotel room, it smelled awful like a smoking room. I looked around and found ash trays, then called the front desk to see if they mistakenly assign the room to us. (We're non-smokers.) Sure enought, the room is a smoking room. They said it was the only room available for the evening. We were not informed of this at all when ...

Seriously... we stayed here and yes... it was clean...but the walls are paper thin and we could hear every conversation going on in the main room. The bed was way way soft, which is okay...but if you are going to a hotel to relax and to get away, don't go here. The neighbor's alarm and cell phone kept waking us up all morning!

We live near the Coast Bellevue and recently had an extended wind-related power outage. This hotel couldn't have been better. First, they had heat. They didn't raise prices like several Bellevue hotels did. AND they agreed to allow our dog, a small non-shedding terrier, because of the extreme conditions and local problems. They were kind, ...

Hotels and motels in this area are so overpriced; the coast was the most reasonably priced. Pluses: convenient location, room good size, room very clean. Minuses: didn't get ordered breakfast 1 or 2 days; common areas smell really weird (others have said like cigarette smoke, but it smelled more like chemicals to me).

Location was great.The smoke smell in the halls was overwelming! We also found several bugs in the room (silver, flat bugs that jump like fleas} These bugs were jumping on the sheets and pillow cases of one of the beds. I was too beat to call the front dest, I just slept in my clothes.

This hotel is convenient when heading to the convention center in Bellevue. However, for some reason the entire hotel really smells badly of cigarette smoke. This luckily doesn't make its way into the room, but as soon as you step out into the hall, there it is.
