This was the closest hotel to where I needed to be. The staff has courteous Southern charm down to a science- every employee whom I met in the hall couldn't have been nicer, or more helpful. The room was spacious and spotless. After a long day of travel, this wonderful hotel was paradise.

The staff was friendly, the shopping was awsome and the cookies were greeeeaaat!!!! I had an amazing time, I was there on a church retreat and everyone that I was with just can't stop talking about coming back for HWSW 2008 and the warm chocolate chip cookies.

I was recently in Norfolk for a business trip and stayed at the Doubletree Hotel. Before I came to Norfolk I was reading the various reviews about the location and they all said the same thing. Yes the location isn't the greatest and parking can sometimes be hard to find, but the rooms are nice, the employees are courteous and the food was decent. If I had to stay here again, I would!!

I will never ever forget the taste of chocolate chip cookie. Which I was enjoyed almost daily during my visit.

i stayed at the doubletree on vacation visiting some friends. i didnt order room service but the staff was very friendly and helpfull. i was surprised at how clean and cozy the room was. i also liked that i had a balcony. the location was excellent. it was close to the airport and connected to a mall! its a woman's dream!
