Very disappointing

We stayed at this hotel last 4th of July. We prefer Sheraton to many other chains, but this location was sub par. The hotel is convenient to downtown Norfolk, has great views of Portsmouth�s shipyards, and is along the river walk. Also, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and sights to see nearby. I have stayed at the Sheraton at Waterside Norfolk twice and I have to say, it's my favorite hotel experience. My husband and I stayed the night before he left for a 6 month deployment and it was the perfect romantic evening. I ended up staying an extra night after he left because of the weather. Best Sleep I've ever had at a hotel

I love the Sheraton beds. They claim they will give you a good night's sleep and I say they are right! The hotel itself was somewhat run down and while I had a great view of the waterfront the first night, the internet access was not working. The room I moved to had a view of the streets. At least I had the internet connection.

We arrived in norfolk at our hotel found out we had to pay 20 dollars a day for valet parking or we could walk a little over a block to a public parking structure for 11 dollars a day. we got in our room. took a nap and some guy walked right into our room. apparently they checked someone else into the same room luckly we were there or who knows ...
