A very pleasant experience . . .

The lodge offers beautiful views, spacious rooms and gracious service. It has a wonderful "feel" and is on the free bus route to Zion. I stayed with a family of five and was very pleased.
We really hadn't planned to stay overnight, so hadn't made reservations. Having put in a long day--and feeling very relaxed after a wonderful dinner at the Spotted Dog--we inquired as to rates at a few places as we drove from the restaurant toward the interstate.
The senior rate was given--even though my mom didn't have her AARP ...

Buyer beware

The lodge is quite acceptable and convenient to local eateries. But, beware that their pricing policy dictates that no AAA or AARP discounts apply unless you stay 3 nights. I found no such information on-line; yet, upon arrival, the registration agent insisted that, that was the policy. Not very nice!
