I searched high and low for a nice hotel, with specific amenities. I saw Best Western a couple times, but passed them over as another hotel I couldn't afford because of the advertised average price on YP. But after booking with Holiday Inn, then finding out that the place I was planning to stay in, was under construction, smelled, and had rude ...

I chose this hotel becuae of its proximity to Methodist Hospital. However, It was a bad choice. The front desk clerk had a personality that was non-existent, whenic alled and asked for another pillow i was told I hadto come down to the front desk and get one. Also, the bed so horrible i considered going and sleeping in my truck! My backseat ...

Convenient to Medical Facilities
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/03/08
This place was walking distance from our mom's hospital for her heart surgery. The medical rate was reasonable. Breakfast is included and good, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and it was peaceful and quiet. Staff was fairly difficult--they had our reservations wrong and had problems correcting them and made many errors and mix-ups during our week long stay. Still worked well for our needs though.

Great Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/20/07
After shopping around looking for the most affordable and convenient location, I struck gold finding this place. Staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were very nice. The only problem during my stay was the pillows, im not a fan of firm pillows. Other then that, everything was nice.

My husband & I stay at this hotel every time we have an appointment at the Houston Medical District. Nice rooms, great staff, wonderful indoor pool and hot tub. Within walking distance of the Medical District. Breakfast, newspaper, ample parking all add a big plus for value!
