People are great here the southern hospitality and down home fill just isn't expected at a high dollar place like this. I would go back any time

Very good ambiance. Hotel has a great lobby and bar. Staff is very couteous an helpful. Does not feel like a chain hotel. I have friends who come in for the Texas-OU game and stay every year.

Like the location - near downtown and lots of restaurants. It is set apart from the busy highways. Has an historic appeal. The employees are helpful and friendly.

I would never consider staying at any other hotel in Dallas. The service here was outstanding. The staff was friendly, courteous and welcoming.

This is one of the classic hotels in Dallas and while for some people classic may seem run down, that is not the case of this Grand Dame. The lobby was sharp and you knew that you were walking into a bit of history with it's elegant chandelier and antique expensive couches and chairs.
