Stayed at the Grand Hyatt for the weekend by myself, and the staff made me feel so comfortable. Beautiful hotel, great room, nice pool, and excellent service. Great location too, walk straight through the lobby down to the riverwalk.
We requested a quiet room, and received the quietest hotel room we've ever had! The location is perfect, right in the middle of the Riverwalk action, and close to the Alamo, Tower of the Americas, and more. The San Antonio heat in the upper 90's was higher than we are used to, but that isn't the hotel's fault. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Got a inside looking room could hear the piano bar like it was outside my room and I was on the sixth floor. Could hear next room farting all night and baby crying all night like they were in MY room. Nothing but "sorry" from front desk. River walk was great as was the hot tub as it was on 11th floor.
Traveling with 4 young children we were a little worried about being cramped in the hotel room. Fortuneately, the guest room was very spacious and the beds very comfortable they even thru in a complimentary refrigerator for the kids snacks and drinks. The location is superberb! We were in the heart of the Riverwalk which made it much easier with ...

The Hyatt was awesome. We will definitely be back!
We went to San Antonio on a whim & couldnt find any hotel that had rooms avaliable. The Hyatt had a cancellation & we got in & we were absolutely happy with every thing! We had a king size room that was $229 per night. The room was huge & spotless, Plenty of towels & amenities, we had a nice river view with a balcony, the lady ...
First thing I made a reservation a month in advanced, and when I got there they messed up our rooms. Then I went down to eat for breakfast and it was 20 dollars a person. Dont get me wrong the place is beautiful but the service sucked. I rather go to a hotel were people were at least nice to me. I was in a group of 22 people and we were all upset. ...
This hotel is at the end of the RiverWalk and is in a great location. The Alamo is literally right across the street and the hotel is close to a ton of restaurants.
The Hyatt Hotel on the Riverwalk... I have been there the last 3 years, and always the same, GREAT!
Pros: Clean, Great Service, Beautiful, Nice Location (on Riverwalk), Great view of Alamo
Cons: Pool isn't great (too small)

I paid more becuase I thought it would be a treat for my family to get a pricier hotel. The hotel website states they have a "heated pool"...don't be fooled, the pool is not heated. The front desk claims it is heated to 74 degrees but that is cold in my opinion and everyone else that paid more money for a HEATED pool. We paid ...
