the place was in a good spot , the hotel has everthing you could need , for the whole family. The beach is in the backyard. At night is when the fun happens. The service in the restraunt was slow , but everything else was great.

I went to go see the beach for the first time ever and stayed at the Holiday Inn Emerald Beach! I am not going to lie after reading the reviews I was scared to stay there. But my fiance and I had the best time ever! I couldn't have asked for a better hotel! We were right down the road from everything and the view is incredible! The sand bar was great and the restaraunt had an awesome buffett. I would go back for sure!

The service was terrible, from the front desk to the resteraunt! The room was pretty dirty and housekeeping did not once come to tidy up. We ate at the resteraunt several times. We stayed at this hotel last summer in June and we loved it. The hotel is located right on the beach, and only the hotel members can access that part of the beach so it is not over-crowded. Free breakfast is NOT provided each morning, and that was a bummer. There is also a pool/sauna/and hot tub located inside which is nice to go cool off in after time spent on the beach.
