So Awesome!

The grounds were so beautiful and clean! All staff were extremely professional and courteous. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world and this was one of the finest. Loved the music nightly and friendly people - lots to do and see. Will come again and telling everyone I know to go there.

We just returned from Nashville and 4 nights at the Opryland Hotel. Pictures do not do justice to the beautiful, lush surroundings.

Check-in was quick and easy, however it was in the early evening on a week night. We were virtually attacked by several people wanting to help us with our bags. We only had 2 so we chose to go it alone - a huge ...

Recently stayed at Opryland for a convention.

Pros: Incredible gardens with a relaxing atmosphere. End of Pros.

Cons: Almost everything else. First hidden fee: $24 per day for Valet parking. Valets very blase and rude. Mostly wanted a tip. Check-in at front desk took over 1 hour (yes!! over 1 hour!!). Front desk girl very apathetic and surly, ...

Nickle and dime a person to death. Still don't know what this "resort fee" was. Was told that it was for the 2 bottles of water per day. Didn't get 2 bottles of water per day. A quarter mile from handicap parking to the room.

I treated my mother to a weekend at the hotel during the quilt show. We stayed in a room with a balcony. We were on ground level with a view of the trees only. The Opryland is a nice hotel, but very expensive and runs like no other hotel/resort we've ever stayed at. Our room was nice and was cleaned every day...eventually. Way over priced!

You are paying for the great atmosphere. Rooms are way over priced! Paid $239 for a room.Had extra fees tacked on for parking ($16) and wirelesss internet ($15) These should have bee waved for the over priced average room. Food prices were out of sight. We paid for 4 adults (our two young teenagers were considered adults) and had only two bottles of water and two washclothes in our oom.
