After reading the reviews on this site prior to our trip I have to say I was nervous. However; we were very surprised and pleased with our stay. We had a large group (11) attending a national conference here and everyone enjoyed themselves. The facilties for the seminars were very nice and well-equipped. After a two day/two night stay at this hotel, I was more than ready to depart.
The artrium is a beautiful scene...the horticulture department deserves acolades for their work. After that is said, I can't say much more on the positive side about this very difficult hotel to navigate around. You spend most of your time there trying to find ...
This place has 9 ACRES of tropical gardens in the middle of the hotel, you get lost all the time when trying to find your room. The place is a maze with no easy to navigate design. we were there for 2 days and 2 nights and were lost most of the time. You cannot park at registration (unless you use valet parking for an extra $10 per day on top ...

The last shuttle, for which we pre-paid, left 30 minutes before we arrived. Our reserved king room was gone and we offered an "upgrade" to a party suite ...
The place is so over priced. $18 just to park?? $25 for valet. $15 for the key to the room which gives you free shutter and internet. Our room was so far down the hall we got lost twice trying to find the room.

Restaurants are catered almost solely to adults with the exception of the pizza and burger place. If you want breakfast for a child, it's either room ...
