I booked this room months ago in anticipation of attending a college football game. A few days after booking, the game was moved from a Saturday to a Thursday to accomodate ESPN. When I called them to rearrange my reservation, they insisted on holding me to what I had booked and then charged my credit card anyway. What a scam! I will never use your service again.

I'd like to note that the person who gave negative comments about the hotel back in early February was at the hotel prior to the completion of the renovation I'm sure. He should give it a second chance. The new rooms are very well appointed... the most COMFORTABLE bed I have ever slept in. And just the nicest staff I have ever encountered. This is and always will be my hotel of choice when staying in Columbia!

I like Columbia Marriott because it is in a good location. You have everything right at your fingertips. The restaurant, the pool, the fitness center, the gift shop and the beautiful music played each night by the gentleman on the piano. I left my pillow there by accident, a nice $50 feather pillow in a plain white case. I called three days later and they not only had it but they're sending it back to me free of carge. Now THAT is service.

We couldn't have been happier with our room. The newly remodled hotel seemed very posh in comparison to ours stay there a couple of years ago. Nice linens, stylish furniture, and modern bathroom.
