Deception HotelThe Hotel was nice but the service from the front desk was poor. Was not told about a "hidden" security deposit fee of $100.00 when we booked the room months ago, until the day of check-in. Under one of the beds I found a playboy magazine, trash and toe nail clippings! Thankfully my 3 small children didn't see the mag. Will only go to dayton houseThis was our second trip to the dayton house.I was worried about this trip because it ws senior week..We had the best time.Because of its location,and rules no problems.........Its always relaxing,and i dont understand the complaining of the folks at the front desk...Let me tell ya,i got their early,4 hours before check in..Was tired had my mom and ...1 of 1 Yahoo! AN o.k. EXPERIENCEME AND MY WIFE HAD AN OK EXPERIENCE AT THE DAYTON HOUSE. THINGS TO DO WERE NICER THAN THE ROOMS (POOLS, JACUZZIS, LAZY RIVER INTERNET ACCESS).

I Stay Here Every YearI loved this place. I've stayed here every year for the last 5 years.
I loved the many outdoor & indoor pools and spas, including an infant pool that is heated.
There are also several sauna's.

Can't wait till JulyTreated like family. Every need is meet and if there are any problems they are handled very quickly. I would recommend The Dayton House to anyone and everyone. Wonderful! Will do it again, and again!!Loved it! It felt clean, it was so quiet, and you couldn't hear other people slamming doors, or flushing comodes. The hotel personel was nice, and helpful.. the lawn behind the hotel was clean, well kept, and lined with row upon row of tables, umbrellas, and chairs that faced the beach. Great PlaceI have been to Dayton House the last 2 years in late Sept. early Oct. and have had a great time. Everybody on the staff was friendly, and I have never had a problem with the rooms not being clean. I leave in 11 days for my third trip to the Dayton House, I have enjoyed my stay there everytime and each year I find myself adding another day to my stay this year I'll be there for 7 days.
