I liked the pizza in the bar for happy hour. It's a good deal. The owner is a bit cranky though. I think it is hurting business. Also the price for a meal is too expensive for the location and the type of place it is. At least give them a salad or soup for the price. Lower the prices and give people value for the money.

I can't help but comment about the previous review. Sounds like sour grapes to me. If these people compare Bibo to Olive Garden, well I think that says it all. And how much bread can people really expect to receive and/or eat!!! My experience was delightful. Authentic Italian food (not a bit like Olive Garden or Chianti Grill) electic wine ...

My wife and I loved this restaurant when it was Viva Italia, but i guess with the new name came a complete reversal in food quality and service. When we arrived my wife made it known that she really wanted some bread so we were seated and we ordered our food I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs and my wife had the kids spaghetti to share with our 2 ...

Viva Italia has wowed us again. My husband and I were greeted by a smiling hostess who sat us promptly. Our server was very helpful guiding us through the menu providing suggestions. The food took about 20 min. which was what we expected because it is fine dining. The music is Italian and the lighting is on the dim side creating a nice ...

From the first time I've been there to the last, it has gone downhill. My last visit was my last. We received no fresh bread as a starter. The garlic cheesebread we received as an appetizer was over cooked, and it looked like they used american cheese. It tasted horrible. I was also told they were out of lasagna when I ordered, which was ...

Viva Italia used to be THE standout restaurant in Eagan. I'm sad to say I will no longer be a customer. The last two times we had dinner here, the service was slow (over an hour from being seated until we got our food) and the food was mediocre. We won't be back.
This was my fiance and my first time eating at this restaurant. I had to wait quite a few minutes to be seated, then was seated by a chef with a white chef jacket and jeans on. There was a one table that was occupied in the bar area, and probably two to three couples in the restaurant area so it was not very busy. The ambience and decoration was ...
My first thought is that this place does not belong in Eagan -- its the burbs for christsakes! But hey, I for one am glad it is here because there are far too few decent eateries in my hood.
Viva Italia is a small italian restaurant with good comfort food. Nothing overtly gourmet or high brow. The atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. The wine ...
