Hotel renovations and hotel staff were excellent!My family and I had stayed at this hotel last year when it was a Holiday Inn Select and it was somewhat dated. When we came back this year the hotel has been fully renovated and converted to a Crowne Plaza. The staff and the rooms are wonderful. My children loved the indoor pool.OVERALL

Not GreatThis hotel was OK. The sheets weren't too scratchy, and it was relatively clean. The pool looked fine, and the lobby was decent.
However, if this is the best Hickory has to offer (as the ad says), I am frightened. The hotel is actually more of a motel.
