Stayed there once before and it was a full service hotel. THIS HOTEL IS AWFUL, AND THE STAFF IS EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. NOT ONLY DID I HAVE TO CHANGE MY ROOM BECAUSE IT SMELLED BUT HOUSEKEEPING DIDNT BOTHER TO CLEAN MY ROOM THE NEXT MORNING

IT IS A FANTASTIC HOTEL WHERE YOU CAN ENJOY ALL YOU NEED.. IS PERFECT TO GO WITH YOUR PAIR... FANTASTIC..... THE ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN IT.. AND THE RESTAURANT IS VERY NICE...
Bad start w/ over 60 vacationers waiting for check-in, room assignment. We arrived around noon and we were told to return around 3 pm due to a computer crash. Returned at 3 and around 60 people in lobby waiting, no plan in place, no waiting list had been initiated.
Room not cleaned the following day, so I approached a housemaid on the floor, ...
This hotel's location was perfect for all the things you would want to walk to in NYC. The only thing that I didn't like is a jacket I left in the lobby bar wasn't returned. My fault, I know...but I expected more honesty from the employees.
Old, small unkept rooms. Cracked walls. Stained carpet..Needs a complete makeover. For the same price I should have stayed where I normally stay-at the Sheraton. I expected this to be as good. I will never stay again. This hotel should not be rated a **** star by Yahoo. More like a ** star. Maybe it's time they updated their information

The hotel was perfect. Rooms were nice and big and the cookie was the best. Good size bathrooms for NY and the location was right outsdie the subway line.

Not a true DoubleTree Hotel. Jr Suites are not resonable... no door to the sink area of Bathroom...... Not clean looking. Cable selection is bad, remotes don't work. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Affinity down the block.

The room we got had a big cockroach in the bathroom. They let us switch rooms, but they were pretty non-chalant about it and even reached the point of making fun of us when we complained. Kind of made me think that it probably happens all the time. If you want to pay up to 300 bucks a night, along with some roaches, then go ahead, otherwise you're better off spending a little more for a non-roach infested place and with a less rude staff.
