It isn't a high end hotel, but it isn't a bad place to stay.

I was impressed with the room considering that other rooms in the area were going at 3 times the price.

The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Room was always cleaned and supplied with coffee, shampoo and essentials.

The Super 8 Hotel in New York is just about the most disgusting Hotel I have ever stayed in. The Facilities were terrible, the rooms were very basic, the on sweet bathrooms were awfull. The location - 5 minutes walk from Time Square - was al it had going for it. The place could do with a lick of paint. I would'nt recommend this hotel to anyone unless you love to stay in dumps. It is cheap but so are other better places.

The pictures on the hotels website are very misleading. the rooms were small and dirty. the placed smelled of body odor. This hotel is not worth the price. Spend a little extra and stay somewhere that has a good reputation. Take my workd for it...it is disgusting. You cannot control the temperature in your room. it felt like it was 100 degrees in the room. the front desk suggested opening a window, but they would not open.

The location is simply the best in NY: 2 blocks from the Times Sq and walk distance from the Central Park, Union Square and UN. The rooms are clean and well-kept, but small. The frontdesk clerks are a little impolite and arrogant. Poor breakfast.
