We stayed at the Grand Hyatt last year for 3 nights and I loved it so much we are going back in two months and staying there again. The service was awesome. Everyone from the front desk people to the guys out front helping you get a cab, were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The location could not be better, attached to Grand Central Station and ...
Two friends and I took a girls trip to NYC and stayed at the Grand Hyatt. Me and one friend shared the same bed all four nights and both of us came home bitten by bed bugs. I received a medical diagnosis and have pictures of the bites. The first day home my friend called the front desk manager, Alex to tell him of the situation. He was ...

My children and I stayed for 3 days, the lobby, is beautiful, but the room smelled of feet, the bathroom was small and dirty, and the beds were un-comfortable. The staff was accomodating with our request to be moved. We were extremely disappointed , will stay at the Westin next time.
We visited the Grand Hyatt on business and traveled in by train. So happy to see how close it was to Grand Central, only a short walk. The suites are pretty spacious and very clean. It's a very pretty hotel.
We worked the big Ultimate Prom Event, you can see a full review right in Feeling the Vibe Magazine.
I was in a large group, and they worked out the rooms for a group of over 100 surprisingly well. Lobby and rooms were well designed, though the rooms were a little bit dusty. Big for New York. Elevators are a little slow, and some elevators only go up to certain floors, but all of them go down to all floors. The access to the Grand Central subway station was nice. I would stay there again.
This hotel had a contemporary vibe and was always busy with people everywhere! Although it was overcrowded at times, the service was still good and the room was always clean. A great place to wake up and start your day in the city!

The service continues to be very good, and the location is outstanding -- but they have fallen off in a few areas. One of my 'clean' towels had a very nasty 'glob' attached== and the dust is quite overwhelming. In addition, the food, while decent, is quite expensive, and lacking the presentation that can help one overlook the ...

Room/bath were as advertised/pictured and worth its cost, but acceptable by many NYC hotel standards. Daily room service was inconsistent (bed covers left on floor one day, wash cloths not replaced one day though all towels were which seems wasteful when occupants do not put towels on floor/in tub indicating desire for replacements). Luggage ...

The front office staff was okay. I had an issue in my room and wanted to talk to the front desk manager. She was very mean and not helpful at all. Hyatt needs to get some new people on board. Who ever is doing the hiring needs to step it up. This is a 4 star hotel, it needs to have great employees..
