Kids came from Florida and I put them at Coliseum. Price was great compared to other motel. Rooms & bath were clean. Parking was easy. 10 minutes from my home. Every other motel was at least 30.00 more per night. Staff very helpful. Great resturant at same location gives discount if you are motel guest.

I came in from California to visit family in the area and they recommended this motel. I found the staff to be very helpful, the rooms to be clean and spacious, and the location was great. Right across the street from a park, so excellent for families, and 5 minutes to Jones Beach. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was the worst I ever stayed at. For one thing there is no hot water so a shower is impossible (with things floating on the botton of the tub, who would want to take one anyway) Bathroom faucet was not fully attached to the sink, and just overall dirty.

There really was nothing to like. Rooms were not clean, no hair dryers, one glass in the bathroom, no shower caps, no bath mat, beds were very uncomfortable. As a graduate student coming in from out of state, it was just what I needed for a couple of weeks while finding housing. Large, clean rooms, including tub and spacious closets. Fairly quiet, though walls near the stairs are a bit thin. Very nice, helpful staff. Free coffee, cable.

I paid $100/day flat, weekday and weekend, during late August.

Kind of how Motel 6 used to be when it was actually a value.
