We had some trouble with the online reservations and our first cabin choice was accidentally given away but got our second choice. Cabin was cute, cozy and basic - but not fancy. Room temperatue was difficult to regulate - seemed either "too hot" or "too cold". Cabins could benefit from a love seat or couch (not all have them).. Staff was VERY nice and overall it is a good value in a great location.

When we walked into the cabins they did appear cute and clean. However, they were VERY cold. When we tried to make a fire in the fireplace it filled the place with smoke even though the flu was open. When we entered the room we were shocked to see how small the cabin was. Not big enough for a family of four. The TV was way to small! The Spruce was the next best thing to being at home. The cabins are cozy and comfortable and the cleanest we have come accross in Cloudcroft, and we come every year! The owners and the staff are also willing to meet their customers needs. We would stay nowhere else.

This was a really nice place to stay. The people that worked there were very friendly and eager to please. The cabins are also very clean. We have stayed everywhere in Cloudcroft and Spruce Cabins is without a doubt THE CLEANEST! They have everything you will need.
