Our first trip was through a major snowstorm. It took us over 5 hours to make a 3 hour trip. However, as we opened the door to our log cabin it all became more than worth the driving issues. This is now a once a year, special romantic weekend for us. Far enough off the main roads but so close to everything! It truly is one of those places that allow you to escape for a while.
