My husband and I disliked everything!! We actually left a day earlier than expected because we hated being there. So needless to say, we will never go there again!!
After being in Vegas as a teen it wasnt that exciting due to the fact that I wasnt able to gamble or drink! Now after turning 21 my mother, her boyfriend, and my lovely girlfriend ended up staying at The Fitz. This was so because all the other hotels were either sold out or were going for 200+ a nite! I was skeptical at first because "Downtown ...

We are looking forward to our next trip!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/14/08
My wife and recently spent four days in Las Vegas and stayed at Fitzgeralds on Fremont St. I would strongly recommend this hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The slots are very loose. Be sure to join their Players Club as they offer the best comps in Vegas.
We stayed in September and were impressed with the amenities at this hotel. You've got great views of vegas from your room and the second floor has good gambling machines and a nice bar with a balcony! I went to the pool several times and, though it's not the Flamingo, it's clean and private.

Great trip!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/02/07
We just returned from a 2-night stay and had a wonderful time. This was our first time staying in the downtown area (rather than the strip) and found this was a very ecomonical way to enjoy the LV experience. Our room was clean, comfortable enough, and no smell of smoke. The only minor problem we had was with the temperature control (we ...

Only At The Fitz!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/22/07
We live in Bullhead City, AZ, across the Colorado River from Laughlin, NV. When we go to Las Vegas, we only stay at the "FITZ." My husband and I love the old school slots, the tables are great and I've always left there a winner. In this case, what happens in Vegas can go home with you. I love the Fitz! They have the best food of all ...

Great Place at a Great Price!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/09/07
Clean rooms, very nice staff, great customer service from front desk. Why stay at Bellagio for $800.00 a night when you can stay here for $100.00 and use the other $700.00 to play with???? Only thing is the elevators are slow due to the fact that the place is sooo busy and they have 34 floors, people coming and going. Would definately stay there again!

Why pay $160 on strip to leave your suitcase in a room
We have been to vegas on numerous occasions. We always stay downtown now. We like this place because the staff are friendly, the rooms are basic but clean.
The price is relatively cheap compared to the UK and the strip. The location for downtown is excellent. Why Pay $160 for a room on the strip to leave you suitcase in a room whilst you are ...

Will never go back!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/27/07
We visit Las Vegas 3 to 4 times a year, but our first time at the Fitzgeralds Hotel. Our room was adequate for the price; however, on the morning of day 4 after staying and gambling in their casino while waiting to go on an excursion I asked a waitress for some water to take my heart medication. She denied my request cause I was not at a machine, ...
