We stayed in room 238. It appeared to be newly renovated. The room was very clean and had a wonderful view of the beach, lake and pier from the deck. The bed was very comfortable as it gave me no problems with my bad back. The beach was fantastic, the water warm and shallow. A wide variety of water toys could be rented at the pier. Highly recommended!! We'll be back!!!! The pizza (on site) was pretty good too!

The location of this hotel is perfect - on the beach and to the side of the bustle of the town. We could walk from our room to the beach, to the best restaurant, to the swimming pool, and to shops. The rooms are very small and only one person can fit in the bathroom area. If you think for one second your bed is going to be comfortable here you had better sleep in your car.The private beach they claim is there's has dog crap all over it . Make sure to watch your small children and yourself every step. The staff is very blahh not friendly ...

Nice view from the little balcony but the building we stayed in had no elevator so we had to go up and down three flights of stairs every day - good exercise though! Easy access to beach so we liked that. Room was clean enough and the beds were OK but they need to provide a real comforter and the blankets were very thin.

Staff was not helpful, rude at front desk about where to park and how to find our room. Rooms are very small/cramped and noisy

There could have not been a more incompetant staff working when I was there. They were extremey rude and acted like it was a burden to have to help customers. There were several of us there for a wedding, and they lacked serious customer service skills toward all of us. Unless they change their staff to people that realize that it is their JOB to help people, I would absolutely not recommend staying there.

Loved this place, rooms were clean, it is a dog friendly lodge. People that work there were very helpful. My daughter was getting married at the Lake Front Wedding Chapel 2 doors down, this was really easy to access. Love the lake that is located in the back of the hotel. Only draw back was the parking. If you go out and come back late it is hard to find a parking space, but otherwise it is wonderful.
