This was a very well run class act by the hotel staff.

Many of the "guests" were well difficult, a teens baseball team was staying there, well behaved, etc.

Room Servive: about perfect, gave the 25% tip.

Staff: outstanding: gave great recommendations about nearby places to eat!

Seems all staff works hard and some who stay do not get how good this place is, and it is.

There was NOTHING to like about the Doubletree. The airconditioning hardly worked...set on the lowest possible setting our room only dropped to 75 and was incredibly humid and uncomfortable. We were not tol in advance that the breakfast was an additional charge on the weekend.

UPSIDE: Rates were very reasonable for a suite. Down comforters and pillows are a nice touch. Concierge was extremely helpful. Detailed directions available for local attractions.
DOWNSIDE: Renovation in progress. Dated furnishings.
OVERALL: An excellent value for the price.
