My husband and I traveled from Alabama to Vicksburg on a motorcycle. The ride through Ms. was beautiful. We are history buffs and Anchuca served us graciously. It was expensive, but worth every penny. The Davis bedroom let us go back in time. The furnishings throughout are breathtaking. Everyone was friendly and shared so much history about the ...

I had lunch with my family here two days in a row and I thought it was outsanding. It was the highlight of my trip. The dining room was beautiful and quiet. The food was amazing. I hate asparagus, but I loved the asparagus bisque and I though the fruit salad was dynamite. I enjoyed the quiche lorraine and the cafe burger. Additonally, ...

Anchuca a must-see in Vicksburg
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/06
Anchuca is wonderful! It is a beautiful antebellum home, rich in history with wonderful accomodations. I visited Anchuca recently for dinner with friends and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent - i ate the tenderest steak i've ever had. We ate outside on the beautifully designed and manicured terrace. The service was impecable. We felt like absolute royalty! Will visit more often! JP Jackson, MS

Wonderful Weekend
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/27/06
Everything from the greeting upon check in to our departure made us feel like were special friends. The turn down service rivals those of 5 star hotels in major cities. The chef is to be commended on his presentation and quality. Not only are we planning a return but we're taking friends next trip.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/22/05
Hi Chris, I just wanted to tell you again how much Denise and I enjoyed our "Getaway for Two" at Anchuca. This was the first time we have stayed in a Historic Bed & Breakfast and it will not be our last. The accomodations were top notch, but the two breakfasts we enjoyed there were absolutely delicious! Can we come back sometimes for ...
