long wait to check in. Room was not ready at check in time. long wait to get admission to water park. Locker Room at water park was FILTHY and smelled like urine Even though we had ventilation system running at max room was 90 degrees. It was so hot and humid I spent part of the night sleeping in our car in the parking lot. Water park is nice.

Okay, but NEVER going back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/16/08
Pros: Waterpark was a blast for my five year old, maid was nice. Cost was okay.
Cons: We booked a pool side room for extra $. When we arrived we were told the pool was closed for maintenance. It looked old and the games by the pool were powered down, and there was no puck for the air hockey. The dry play area for little kids had several ...

Waterpark was Good, Hotel was OK
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/08
The Grand Rios Waterpark was a lot of fun. We stayed at the hotel over Easter weekend, and the waterpark was not very busy. My entire family had a blast at the waterpark. I would highly recommend the waterpark to anyone.
The hotel was just OK. The hotel pool was really poor. The water was very cold and just not a very inviting area. My ...

The Hurricane Plunge is a lot of fun! The guest rooms are beautiful. We didn't eat in the restaurant so I can't comment. We will go back!

NOT PERFECT ~ BUT A GREAT GETAWAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/25/06
Pros: * The waterpark was wonderful, however we went on a Thursday. It has something for every age.
* The food service was quick and staff was friendly.
* Our room location was perfect, I think it was room 227. We had 2, somewhat small, beds. However, we had a sliding door to a semi-private patio with a indoor climbing structure and very ...

I was bitten by bed bugs
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/06
The waterpark was nice, but while sleeping at the hotel I was bitten 20 times by bedbugs. I stayed at the Brooklyn Park location. I'm not the type to sue people, but if someone else is bitten, they might. My familty stayed in room 1047 on Friday, August 11th, 2006.

I LOVE IT!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/21/06
I liked how it had a resturant in it and the service was great but it was kinda dirty, and when i went their was this kinda sassy employee named Sam. She was very rude and didnt really care if we had pillows or not. The water park was amazing. So i definatly will return
