I chose Best Western for their high speed internet connection. I was having trouble getting connected with my laptop, and the staff was extremely helpful. They let me try a few different rooms until I found a room where the signal strength was good enough to sustain a good connection. They even offered to let me sign out a loaner wireless card for my laptop.
Very pleased with the service.

Not such a good experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/05
I made a reservation in Late Feb/Early March for a conference with a particular group. When I arrived at the Hotel, my reservation was not found. I got a room different from what I wanted. Then a few days later, I see an extra near $100 charge on my credit card!!! My card is now NOT on file and I never existed at this hotel! Something is not right with paperwork!

A Good Value for Ann Arbor
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/01/05
Ann Arbor, one of the more expensive places to stay in the area, has at least one hotel that charges reasonable rates: The Best Western Executive Plaza. The rooms are standard size, the environment is pleasant, the breakfast buffet is small, but adequate, and the location is convenient to the University of Michigan. But best of all, it costs well under $100 a night.

Awesome Lobby

The lobby is nice with a pool, hot tub, pool table, and large seating area with balcony views from a 2nd level platform with couches.
