This was our first visit to the Colonial Inn. We were very pleased with the gracious atmosphere of the 150 year old building and grounds. Extremely old, filthy rooms. In desperate need of renovation. We've stayed twice now, and even though we love the neighborhood, we can't go back...It's just too gross, now. But owner and staff are pleasant.

The previous poster it completely correct, this place is an utter dump! It is very rundown and shabby. It is a shame, since there are not a lot of other options for hotels in the area, you have to go to the next town over, or rent a home. This place is way over priced, and the owner is very rude and and full of himself. Obviously he didn't ...

My husband, son and I stayed at the Colonial Inn in Harbor Springs, MI. It’s was one of the worst experiences and places that we've ever stayed at.
