I had the pleasure of staying at the Town Crier for 4 nights June 16th through June 19th 2008. If you are looking for the glitz and glamour of a casino setting, this is not the place for you. *Location is great!
*Price is right!
*Rooms are tidy and as clean as "old" can possibly be.
*I needn't worry that my children would "ruin" anything.

my family has been visiting this motel for many years. I came here with my family as a child and now I take my own family.

The service is always excellent, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is in the perfect spot, right in the middle, very easy to get in and out of.

Overall the experience wasn't horrible but it was not to my satisifaction. The rooms were in ok condition, could have used a little more detail cleaning, the TV and nightstand had a layer of dust and the window sills were covered in pollen.

Lovely quiet stay off season
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/05
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean neat & tidy. The $5.00 breakfast was okay for the price, though they would attact more people if they offered whole muffins (as opposed to sliced sections). Also buying orangs juice separately when you don't drink coffee seemed a bit odd. On the whole though, a very nice place.

Happy Memories!

At the time, it was family owned and they gave personal care and attention. Most welcoming and peaceful location. Loved the pool/pinball room.
