ROOMSERVICE WAS GREAT thank you ladies our room was very clean! Beds were comfy.Bathroom was small and out dated. People at the front desk especially a white haired lady were not very nice, old air conditioners. Breakfast nook is very good.Too many sales men there and around town trying to sell their condo's for them and the breakers next door!!!!!, and no internet connection. I visited June 2008.

Stayed the last week in August and got off-season rates! Rooms were OK, a bit small and worn. The bathrooms could stand a refurb. Overall it's a good place to stay with kids. Breakfast shop, indoor pool and the beach were all good. Not an upscale place but we enjoyed our time there.

It is a shame that they went to timeshares. I had a room right on the ocean and all week I just watched tours go by, no privacy for what I paid for. I booked next year with the three seasons down the road. The sales people they have doing these tours are low lifes also.

I also got the sales pitch and constantly saw tours gpoing around. It's sad that they have "sold out." It was a great place to stay, but prices are not the value thay used to be. Old and out of condition. Since they are going to timeshare, I'm not surprised that rhe place hasn't been kept up. Disappointed, esp. for the $$ I paid! This is a place my family goes to every year. It is in an amazing location, and has great features. Highly recommended. The actual hotel is showing its age, but is still clean and well kept. Its location can't be beat, either.

The Soundings rooms are small, and outdated and the bathrooms need complete renovation. There are much superior accommodations available, but I guess if you have a name and a following, you can live off of it-for a while. Loyalty is a 2 way street, and the Soundings needs to decide whether it wants to keepo it's long time patrons.

It has lost this one.

We have tried the Sounding severalk times over the years. Unfortunately each time has beennless and less of a value.

The prices keep going up, but the property just keeps getting older and less attractive.

The management needs to get in line with what is going on in the rest of Dennisport.
