I liked the view but the resturant service was slow and unhelpful.

The Royal Sonesta hotel is a gem. It is conveinietly located right on the Charles in Cambridge. It is very close to a nearby mall as well as the musuem of science where you can catch a duck tour. It is also a 10 minute walk (or 4$ cab ride) to the nearest T station where you can catch a train to Boston.

We(my girlfriend and myself) checked in at about noon. The room itself was pretty cold, the heat was actualy pumping cold air. Called and someone came up in about ten min. As he left he said it would be fixed in about ten min.

The hotel was nice and the location was fine. The exercise room was very good, with free weights, high-quality excercise machines and a pool.

But Internet access was extra, as was a cord to connect my laptop to a high-speed connection, locals calls were 75 cents, and the price of meals at the hotel were high.

I just returned from a three night stay at the Royal Sonesta and couldn't have been more pleased. The staff is incredibly friendly and the rooms are beyond comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel!
