Harbor View Hotel? no Motel is the worst place to work, they pay there bell men $5.75hr and expect them to make a lot of tips from Guest that never happen, some time the Guest never tip, the best tip time is July and August and you are lucky to make 200 a week. We stayed for four nights with our two children in August. The rooms were small but tastefully decorated and very clean. Housekeeping did a great job. They replenished towels twice a day.

The pool was nice and the grounds were beautiful. Our best meal during our stay was dinner at the Coach House.

It's only about an 8 min walk into town and a beautiful walk as well. In my opinion this is the place to stay.

The staff,location and property is without a doubt the finest on Martha's Vineyard. The true freindliness and caring of the staff push it over the top. The Coach House dining facility is top notch as well as very different from "hotel"
dining. There was also a wedding taking place. I can't think of a more complete place to host a wedding with the amazing views of Edgartown harbour.
