It appears to me that most of the previous Linnell Motel reviews are critical and unfair. I stayed there one night last week, had a wonderful rest in their quiet, countryside location, and appreciated the generous hospitality of staff. My dog and I felt very much at home - I look forward to visiting with the folks at Linnell Motel again. No issues - everything worked great. Thanks for mailing my post card, Thomas.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

"Dishonest" is the only word that comes to mind. All of our dealings were with "Thomas" (would not ever give his last name.)
From the price quotes to refunds for services not provided, everything he told us was Untrue.
The place was horrible and what is worse is...they don't care ! They only want your money and there are ...

We tried to contact the owners and were told they are not allowed to give out that information.
The place is run by local kids who are, also, not allowed to give any information but their first name.
We asked if the owners could call us back and were told,
" No, they won't bother. They don't care what you think. ...

We had been driving for hours and were very glad to find this place. A little piece of paradise in Rumford, Maine. The staff was very accomodating and the rooms were clean. Great place to stay.

I had a great stay at the Linnell Motel. I really appreciated the wireless internet access and enjoyed the continental breakfast they offered. The prices were reasonable and from previous stays it looks as though they have done many renovations. I'd recommend it to family and friends. I'm going back to the Rumford, ME next month on business and I'll be residing there.

The rooms do not have microwaves. There is not much water pressure in rooms to take a decent shower. Some of the tvs in the rooms do not work. Some remotes for the tv dont even work. We even had to move from our room to another to let someone else move in to our room. Then we were promised a bigger refrigrator that we never got. The prices ...
