This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at because:
1. Lost our reservations
2. Forgot to pick us up at airport
3. Room dirty
4. No towels
5. Mold in shower
6. Thermostat did not work
7. Internet did not work
8. Manager is an idiot

The Purple Hotel had the most friendliest and helpful staff. The food was amazing....and They have a Sunday Brunch that is to DIE for. The rooms were very clean and cozy, excellent value for your money. It is close to everything and they have a sandvolleyball court!!! They have the best steaks in the world!

I live in Evanston, and my mom stayed at the Purple Hotel during her visit. I didn't see any of the alarming activities that the other reviewers have described, but I can't say that we were really satisfied with the place, either.

I attended a convention there, and many of my fellow convention members did not feel safe there. I noticed several non-guests loitering by the exits and in the parking lot. I saw no security what so ever.

It was so bad that women in our convention had to be escorted and couldn't go anywhere by themselves.

Do not stay in this hotel if you can help it.
