We have stayed in more "upscale" large resorts, but the smallness of Maui Schooner , layed back atmosphere and beautiful grounds right on the ocean met our vacation dream. We will go back.

This is not a bed and breakfast as listed. We go here every year and I love it. The grounds are beautiful, the location is good, the 2 bedroom unit works well for us with guests, and it seems so away from the hustle and bustle.
The atmosphere is like Maui 20 years ago.

during our stay in november 07, we discovered roaches at two separate site of the location. when we notified the management, they seemed like it was no big deal. so book at your own risk!

The Maui Schooner is our home resort and by exchanging our 2006 week for one in 2007, we were able to get 2 2-Bedroom units at the same time. There were 7 of us there, celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. The accomodations were perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 children.
