The people were very friendly and helpful, front desk very pleasent. My family was nearby to reach and shopping was fun. The security in the parking lot made me feel safe
when I came back to my room late, they would ask if we were ok, such nice guys, that is what you call the aloha spirit

I enjoyed my stay here. the staff was very friendly. They made me feel at home. I had to extend my stay 3 times and they always had a room for me. enjoyed eating in the rst. and looking over the beach. The price was right. A good deal, nothing fancy, just very nice.

I stayed there three weeks ago and for the most part, it was a decent hotel. However, you can forget the conveniences of the Honolulu hotels. This is an older bare-bones, no-service hotel/motel that is in a good location for East and North shore activities. The hotel was very clean and the staff could not have been any friendlier. The location was wonderful. It was in the center of everything. The restaurant had good food. There is a gift shop in the lobby. We had an excellent experience. For the price of this hotel, it is well worth staying here and spending your money on other things.

This resort is on a great piece of land. It's both amazing and admirable that the Hawaiian family who owns and operates this resort has not sold out. Per my husband, this resort is the only resort in the entire state of Hawaii still owned and operated by a Hawaiian family.
