This is a great place to stay, and one day I hope to go back. We booked our condo at Kahana Sunset a month and a half before departure with a small amount of apprehension since we knew nothing about our choice, and we have had bad condo experiences on Maui before. The condo was very spacious just like home. The property is beautiful but very secluded from the rest of the island. If you like to be in the thick of things then this is not the resort for you. We have returned here eight times, both with family and by ourselves. Love the quiet peaceful atmosphere, private beach, barbeques, sunsets.

Pleasure of staying there 5 times. 14 units have steps to the beach, like 5 steps. You walk out the door, and, SAND!! Balcony where in Feb to early Apr we see 30 to 50 whales before 10 am.
