This place was ideal (for us). It's definitely not a high end resort, but it's very well located. The staff was friendly and really seemed to have fun with their jobs. A nightly hula show is a nice way to unwind. We didn't spend an immense amount of time in the room, but they seemed like clean mid-tier rooms. When we go again we will stay here next time as well. The location is ideal.

The beach and lobby are very nice, but the room we stayed in was very old, and very dirty. The shower area was falling apart, and the worst was the musty smell! It is one of the least expensive hotels on the beach, so don't expect 4 or 5 star quality. I had a recently renovated room, which was nice. I got a pool view and yet...could STILL see the ocean! Staff is pleasant and grounds are very pretty.

I would stay here again.

Only negative is the high price of drinks at their Hula Bar and Grill.
