The Hawaiian experience shown through. Not only was this a nice hotel, but the culture of the islands was there for us to easily absorb from the surroundings, the staff, and the available programs. We were on a lovely stretch of beach, within walking distance to shopping, nightlife, snorkeling and just minutes from Lahaina. I learned to hula at the hotel and sing a Hawaiian song, what a souvenier that was....
I love this hotel! Have stayed here twice and it is pure magic! Am going again soon! Can't say enough good things about this hotel! One thing though...beware the poo-poo rockets!
From the description on the web, we expected a modest hotel where we would sleep and eat breakfast but wouldn't spend a lot of time otherwise. Were we ever surprised! This is a great hotel, with beautiful grounds, friendly staff and a champagne Sunday brunch that is out of this world. We especially liked the low-key Hawaiian ambiance, ...
We honeymooned here at this hotel. However, upon arrival they had placed us in a room located in the “old” wing of the hotel. Don’t stay here. The old wing is a bit scary with one of the elevators being out of order and the other which looks like it should not be in working order. Also in the common hallways there was peeling wallpaper and ...
The first year we went to Maui, our travel agent tried to book us into the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, but couldn't. The second year, we decided to give it a try, and we'll never go anywhere else! The hotel sits along the best stretch of Kaanapali Beach, has a whale shaped pool and lots of Hawaiian activities for kids, beautiful natural ...
My husband and I never had a honeymoon. We took our two daughters, ages 17 and 11, with us to celebrate our 29th anniversary. What a fabulous time we had! It was our first time to Hawaii. We were treated like family. Hope we can go back soon.
This hotel was great we were there for our 10th anniversary. The people were all great the beach was great location. We did a resort dive which was awesome also booked a snorkeling trip which the boat picked us up right on the beach at the hotel. We are planning on returning next year for our 20th anniversary.
This hotel was a great place for families. The first time I went to Hawaii was when I was 14, and we stayed at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. I loved the open air lobby and the cleanliness of the hotel. It is not too chaotic and the people are very friendly.
