This was a great base for our visit to the big island. Our room was clean, as is the hotel. Staff was friendly too. Parking is something to be desired tho. Most of it is on the street, or behind the hotels cafe. There is a side lot too, but its tight. The hotel is very close to the airport for those late flights in, or early flights out. The ...
I really enjoyed my stay there. It's next to a harbor where the local kids swim and hang out during the day. The people there were very friendly and the prices were affordable. Late night parking is hard to find. The walls are thin. The rooms are clean. It's definitely not a 5 star hotel but a place I would recommend.
My wife and I stayed one night at the Hilo Seaside Hotel in May '05. We wanted a place to sleep close by the airport for an early helicopter flight over the volcanoes before we went on to the Kona coast.
It's a plain, quiet, and simple but good hotel. The walls were thin, though--we could hear someone clear their throat in the room ...
The things i like about this wonderful hotel is the view and everything eles.why i say all this is because i once was in hawaii and i loved being in the weather the servies were great.i'm going to be graduting soon and had no way at all to come back to my favorite island in thew world my world would be so happy if i could come back to where ...
I enjoyed staying at the Hilo Seaside Hotel. the rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy. The pool was never over crowded, was always well kept and safely tucked away in the hotel which provided better safety for the children. I stayed there for a little over a week waiting for an apartment I was moving into to open up. The prices are very ...
I love staying at the Hilo Seaside because of its quaint charm, and closer to Hawaii experience. While it isn't your five star hotel, when I come to Hilo I'm ready for a quiet, quaint experience at my hotel. I travel to Hilo on business 3x a year, and always stay here. Close to airport, and close to good restaurants. There ...
If the pictures look bad, it is worse at this place. The rooms are dingy and though clean, there was still smell of cigar smoke. It say's by the ocean - true only by a distance. No food options. Parking is a night mare.
The same repeated at the Maui Seaside - another hotel in this chain.
Don't ever use this hotel. Its better to sleep in your car. Arrived late one night and checked out the next day. The rooms are old, noisy, smell of heavy smoke, and my family had concerns of lice. TV's remote was taped together. Continental breakfast consisted of coffee, tang, and plain donuts cut in half. Resturant was closed. Deluxe ...
