Save yourself the headacheThe one good thing about this resort is the beautiful location. Everything else about the resort was awful. Our reserved room was unavailable at check-in but we were just happy to have a room as they over-booked the hotel for the weekend and we saw guests carted off to the Best Western down the street. Great GetawayWe loved the privacy of the Grande Bay, part of the resort where we stayed. Although there are lots of things to do at the resort, the staff was amazingly helpful in telling us about the points of interest in Ft. not worth my moneyLuckily this was a free trip for us, we can't believe people actually pay so much for this resort. It was not that clean of a place and everything was way over priced. $3.00 for a can of soda and $5.25 for a bottle of water out of the mini-fridge. loved the pile driversMy husband and I stayed at the resort for four days. We arrived late at night and wasn't thrilled about having to pay extra for valet service. Shouldn't that be part of the $15 a day resort fee? So we had to park in a lot away from the hotel. Luckily, there was a shuttle bus that could take us to any part of the resort. A most unpleasant stay!Where to start- there are so many things that went wrong...lets begin with the room that wasn't ready at all- it was actually under construction with the carpet rolled up in the corner and the beds up against the wall...we were moved to a different room that had construction right next door that started at 9am! Overpriced- wont go backI was very disappointed in my stay. Location was wonderful but I found the staff not attentive and sometimes rude, the cleanliness below par and the overall experience very disappointing. A well-run large resortI stayed here for 4 nights in July on a family vacation. The resort was several buildings. The main building has a really nice lobby and adjoining bar. awesome vacation!Ive been to the sanibel resort and spa every year and i love it so much! It has great staff its its always very clean and child friendly.Theres so many sites to see and places to go youll never get bored! The shelling and sunsets are beautiful! The cruises are amazing and you'll be surrounded my dolphins the whole time! The pool and spa are very relaxing and nice!
