Overpriced, Raggedy, but close to the beachFirst off it is close to the beach And if that's all you care about then this hotel is great. BUT if you are expecting a clean room and great service you better think twice.

I will never consider this hotel again!Well i didnt see any extraordinary things during my stay on 14th and 15th May,2009 which needs to be appreciated! Do Not Stay Here!Worst Hotel let me start of by saying the Valet parking charges $40 a day yes that's right $40 a day and the day you check out is also charged for the full $40. I went last weekend & they didn't mention hotel was being renavated so instead of a two bedroom suite we got a king bed and a hide away bed these where the only rooms available. ...Was this review helpful? No what I expectedGreat location, but the room was small, carpet very dirty. Staff was helpful when we needed them. The balcony was very nasty & dirty. Disgusting....don't stay here.I travel a lot for business and have not had a single complaint in the last 2 years about any hotel I've stayed in until now... Do not stay at the Royal Palm hotel. There is nothing royal about the experience.

Never againThe hotel was well situated, but the rooms were really small and for the price that we paid we should have gotten something nicer. The staff was stuckup and very unhelpfull, even the bartender at the poolbar was really rude. Location is goodI stay in January 2008 and used Priceline to book a two night stay. When I got there and attempted to check in, they didnt have my reservation. Apparently the person responsible for entering the Priceline reservations into the computer was behind. I was asked to wait in the lobby bar for approx 30 minutes. Okay placeThis hotel is a great location, two nice pools and you can walk right to the beach. The rooms are small, but they were clean. Only complaint about the room is the TV was broken. As others have commented the parking was really expensive. Ours was $35 a day. Also we were not provided with any info in the room as far as the places to eat, how to get to the beach, etc. We were complete out of towners and were a little lost.Was this review helpful?
