The bathroom floor and the carpets were filthy. After taking a shower, the bottom of my feet were so dirty. I had to re-wash my feet before putting on my shoes. The air conditioner over the bathroom sink had so much fuzz and dirt growing from it - we could have planted tomatoes. The tub had so much rust in it- and the cost was $ 90.00. Outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Loyal ten year customers....will not be back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/30/09
My husband and I have been ten year loyal customers and our last experience (March 27th) was awful where we will not be back. We called and made reservations over a week in advance and informed the person taking the reservations that we were bringing our puppy, we were told there was a $25 pet deposit, upon arriving, we were charged $50 and my ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/14/08
They charged our credit card twice, and it has been 3 months and they still have not credited back our account, They are rude, I would never stay here again, or recommend it to anyone else.If I could give it negative stars I would do so. Down the road a few blocks is a very nice Ramada, Stay there.

Don't miss this one!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/09/06
This is our home away from home! We are always remembered by the staff and greeted with honest enthusiasm. The staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. Plumbing could use some updating but we'll forgive it for the "homey" feeling. Restaurant, pool, convenience, direct access to our car and comfort are A+. Beds are outstanding. Price is reasonable! We always return!
Alhambra Inn was a decent hotel to stay in. The rooms were really out of date. They could use a lot of renovation. Spacious and clean rooms. The double queen beds were surprisingly comfortable. Bathroom tub had bad rust stains and mold. Customer service was good. Lower price rate = lower quality rooms.
Alhambra Inn was at a great location-near the train/trolly ride exploring the city. The shuttle came directly to the Inn.
There was much to do in St. Augustine, and it's a very clean city.

We will be back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/07/05
We stayed at the Alhambra in April and loved it. Our kids enjoyed the big pool while we were in the jacuzzi. The property is really clean and the staff is helpful. Also, the onsite IHOP is very convenient.

Great property-great value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/06/05
Our stay at The Alhambra was great! The room sizes were especially large--bigger than suites in other places we have stayed. The pool was awesome. We were told it is the biggest in the city. Our whole family enjoyed our visit. We highly recommend this property and we will return.
