I didn't at all enjoy my stay here. We requested a beach front room and got a parking lot view. When we asked politely to switch, we were denied. We left a message with the manager, and they NEVER got back to us. RIP OFF, don't stay here, the rooms are dirty as well. This place is in desperate need of new caring staff.
I absolutely cannot believe that I listened to some of these negative reviews and almost cancelled my reservation at this wonderful hotel!
We had a third floor king, with a side view of the courtyard and a peek at the beach and a huge front balcony with two lounge chairs and a table(overlooking the road but who cares, great tanning spot). The ...
This was our 2nd year to stay at this hotel. We made our reservations 3 months in advance in order to secure the same room or at least a gulf front room. Our request was completely ignored and we were put in a ground floor room overlooking a parking lot. With 2 small children this was not only troubling but also very dangerous as there were cars ...

Dirty run-down property
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/27/07
What I liked about the Hotel was the location, and the staff seemed friendly.
However...What I disliked about this property was the cleanliness, insect infestation, and the property was aged. This property seriously needs a face lift. It is old, outdated and overpriced. I'm very surprised Hilton allows this hotel to share its name. It ...

The Beach!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/07
The Hilton's location is wonderful! The private white sandy beach was the best Hilton can offer its guests. The pool is a bit small. We spent most of ours days at the beach. If you plan to spend time at the pool put towels on chairs early. The gift shop could use more attendents every time my kids went there it was closed or said "be ...

Love the small motel feel.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/01/07
What I lked from my first stay [I have stayed there 3 times]was the great value with such a beautiful quiet location. The beach is so close by,[just like the old round Hilton on St.Pete Beach ,no longer owned by Hilton]The prices have really been creeping up ,so I will have to go some place else in the future.I have stayed in the gulf view, pool ...
This Hilton is located on gorgeous Longboat Key. It's immediate beach access is a fantastic plus, however the facilities themselves are a bit worn and dirty. The room was very comfortable, as was the plush bed, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
My only complaints are that our room was actually located outside on the 1st ...

this was an amazing hotel! it was right on the beach and had a pool, hot tub, and resteraunt. The resteraunt was really fun because you could charge everything to your room. I had a great time at this hotel and i highly recommend it!
