We were told at check in that we would be given a non-smoking room. The trip upstairs reeked of cigarette smoke. We found the door ajar to our room and could tell that someone had just run up there to turn the air on. We could still smell the cigarette smoke and thought it would dissapate as the room cooled. Stayed in Marco Polo from July 19th untill July 31th 2006.
A very plesant stay. The location is superb. Very nice pool (Poolstaff was outstanding).
The hotel itself is constantly being upgraded.
We even got new beds during our stay.
Very nice for families.
Higly recomended.

On top of stiff beds and old carpeting, outdated decor, and cheap furnishings...
-- Room was unvacuumed and the bathroom tile had dirty smudges and footprints when we arrived

Rooms were great, the pool and beach access were great, facilities were great. Very cheap price for the quality. But North Miami Beach was about 45 minutes away from anything we wanted to do.

This place was AMAZING. The location was FABULOUS. The pool the beach the restaraunts the rooms everything was great. I felt as if I was in my own home. The people were comforting and I had an overall fantastic experience. If you don't visit the Ramada Plaza Marco Polo Beach Resort, your missing out on an opportunity of a life time. I ♥ IT ALOT!! when we went..THE SERIVE WAS AWESOME!! but the beds were bad!!! but it didnt matter much, the view was EXCELLENT!! you should go!

Hotel was average, we did however have an oceanfront balcony room . The view and the balcony were incredible, the beach was beautiful and not at all crowded. Pool was nice.
