All in all the Ocean Palms was about what I expected for the price. It was clean but to be fair this is an older building with the usual maintenance issues that any on the beach that are more than ten years old will have. Spent the week at this hotel. People are friendly room is great with a great view. The beach was wonderful. I will stay again

Stayed in the hotel Feb 11, 2009 -
Called for a first floor room for easy access for my elderly mother and the staff was extremely accommodating.
All appliances were in working order. Pool was clean and heated.
View was great and the staff was friendly.
One area that needed improvement - the room was clean; however, it needed to be air out due to a musty smell.

My daughter's ipod, a friend's cell phone, and cash from several friend's suitcases when "missing" during their stay. AVOID this hotel.

We have a big family. We have 4 kids. Most hotels can't accommodate us and be comfortable - except for this one. It's right on the beach - can't get any closer. It was clean, had a great breakfast, awesome views from the balcony. We just had a great time there last year and are going to be on our way back there in only 10 more days. LOVE IT!!!

The front desk management was unbelievably professional and yet sincere and courteous during our stay. We would not stay anywhere else when we return. Can't say enough good things about the management particularly.

The front service at this hotel is awful. Called hotel to reserve an ocean front room. Person on the phone was terrible. I had to repeat the information, including credit card number, twice before she could get it correct. When I checked in, I was given a room on the second floor and the view was hidden by trees. I was able to see a gentlemen's club quite clearly. The hotel was empty but they would not change room. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!
