The Amsterdam is more than you would expect for its reasonable prices. An independent hotel, the rooms are fairly spacious and well equipped, with small refrigerator and microwave. Its location has its pluses and minuses. It's a good stopover point due to the proximity of I-95, but that proximity also means you hear road noise.

We enjoyed our stay very much at the Rodeway Inn in Stamford and we would recommend it to anyone looking for accomodations in that area. The staff was very cordial and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. The room was very clean and maintained well on a daily basis. We will definitely stay at this hotel again whenever we are in the Stamford area.
