After reading some iffy reviews, I was nervous about staying at Hotel VQ, but we had a great stay! The hotel is literally next door to Invesco Field making travel to and from the game extremely convenient. We used their shuttle to go downtown and had no problems with being picked up like I had read in other reviews. The room had a large bed and ...
This was the least expensive hotel with free shuttle service to downtown, so we stayed there. Unfortunately, the free shuttle service was not provided on the way back from downtown because the shuttle service was too busy that evening. I wish they had told us in advance. No complimentary breakfast at the hotel, or fridge was available in the room, ...
I disliked nothing, and loved everything else!!! It was great!!! They have a van transport service, that drove us around, dropped us off, and we just called them to ask them to pick us up. The rooms were comfortable. The restaurant/bar on the top floor was wonderful, and had great food. It really made my vacation great.
We stayed at this hotel for a Bronco game in September 2006. The food and service was great, but the fact that the heat kicked on about 2 am and the room was a "broiler" made for lack of sleep for the four nights we were there. We are seriously considering NOT staying there again, although we love the location next to Invesco and the ...
they didn't have central air/heat. We went to bed comfortable and woke up in a broiler. We had to open a window which didn't provide very much relief. When asking about it at the front desk, I was informed that they didn't do any renovation to that system when they redid the hotel and was offered a fan if I thought the room was too hot. ...
Don't stay here. The linen was soiled with old blood stains and some unidentifiable other spots on the linen. Chips out of the porcelain around the sink. AC/heat controls did not work. Had to open window, no screens. Mattresses are about 2 inches thick, very uncomfortable!. Food is overpriced for it's quality! Skip this place and go downtown or farther out to the suburbs. You will be happier that you did!!
It was very neat and the room was a great deal! I read some other reviews and was a little skeptical about this hotel. But everything was great, and I never heard a train blast by or had any rude service. I would stay here anytime!
The Red Lion was a little like a high rise Motel 6. There was no high speed internet and the plug seal in the bath tub leaked, so you could only take showers.
It was clean and the staff was friendly. Plus the hotel was close to downtown.
Limited menu for room service and only about 20 tv stations on tv.
Nice Hotel if you are going to go to a Denver football game. Too far from downtown to walk. Not close to anything, but the football stadium. They have a van to take you places, but, the van driver was crabby. It took them a while to find our reservation when we checked in.
the fact I was able to change rooms without any problems and the front desk agent was extremly nice and helpful. We could have done without the ice in the front. But beyond that every thing was pleasant, thank you for the hospitality.
